If you have the MANUFACTURE module, Stockagile allows you to assign raw materials (previously created in the program) to products. In this section, we will see how to assign this raw material to each product that requires it.
Requirements to be able to assign raw material to a product:
The user must have the role of OWNER, RETAIL MANAGER, INVENTORY MANAGER or PRODUCT EDITOR. You can see the different types of roles in the section Create or edit a user.
The raw material must have been created beforehand; you can see how to create it in the following section How to create raw material.
Steps to assign raw material to a product:
Go to the PRODUCTS section, located within the CATALOG module, in the left side menu.
Using the filters to the left of the product list, entering the product code in the search box, or scanning a barcode, find the product you are looking for and click it to open its page.
When you open the product, go to the MANUFACTURING tab.
Once inside, a screen appears where you can include the raw material, quantities, costs and wastage for each of the product's variants; to do so, click "Add component".
It is important to click the "Set as cost price" button so the program automatically calculates the product's total cost. You also have the "Copy to all variants" option, so you don't have to repeat the same process for every variant of the edited product.
Finally, at the bottom of the screen there is the "Add cost" option for other costs, such as labor.
