To sell in the store through the SELL screen it is necessary to first open the cash register. This will group within the same cash register activity all transactions and money movements.
Requirements to open a cashier's office:
- The user must have the role of OWNER, STORE MANAGER or STORE VENDOR. You can see the different types of roles in the section Create or edit a user.
Steps to open cash activity:
- Go to the side menu and click on the SELL button in the STORES section.
- In the SELL screen you will find the closed register, so you must click on the button represented by three dots located at the top left next to the name of the register.
- A drop-down will open and you must select the OPEN REGISTER option.
- A pop-up will appear, in which you must fill in the cash fund; if you would like, a cash register icon will also appear to count the fund. You can also add notes from the opening.
- Once you have entered the cash fund, click SAVE, at this point you will have the cash register open and you can start selling.
