Make a sale of products with series

In Stockagile you can sell items with series from the POS in the SELL section. It is designed for series that uniquely identify the products in your stock, such as jewelry, implants or prostheses.

Steps to make a series sale

  1. Go to the SELL section from the side menu, located in the STORES module.

  2. You have 2 ways to search for the series:

    • Scanning the barcode of the product you want to add.

    • Searching for the series in the product search bar located at the top left. You can search by code, name or barcode. When you type, the search engine will show you the products that fit the text. Finally, click on one of the products.

  3. In case that it has variants, a window will open to choose which variant you want to select, and finally, a pop-up window to select the corresponding series

  4. When you add a series, it is added to the table in the center of the screen.

  5. For each series you can edit:

    • Name: you can edit the name of a product, but the change will only be reflected in this sale and the associated documents (invoice, ticket...). Therefore, it is not a permanent change and the original name will not be changed.

    • Discount: % discount applied to this product.

    • Price: You can edit the price manually. In the event that the final price is lower than the original, the original will be crossed out. If the final price is higher, it will not be seen.

    ⚠️ Note: you will not be able to edit the number of series, since this is unique and non-transferable.

  6. Additionally, you can link this sale to an existing customer by searching for them by name, surname, phone number or email in the customer search engine at the top center. If the client does not exist, it must be created, which can be done from the sale itself in the icon to the right of the client search engine (👤+), or from the CONTACTS section (Create a new client). The 👤+ icon is also used to edit a contact you have entered.

  7. You can optionally add notes or comments.

  8. On the receipt, you will also see that the reference of the series you have selected appears.

  9. Once all the products have been entered into the sale, you can proceed to pay. To do this you have to click on one of the following 3 buttons:

    • Pay: will take you to the pay screen

    • Pay by card: This will take you to the pay screen and enter the total of the sale in the pay by card field.

    • Pay by cash: This will take you to the pay screen and enter the total of the sale in the pay cash field.

  10. Once on the payment screen, you will see all the available payment methods. These can be customized following the Create and edit payment methods article. Stockagile allows you to pay for the same sale using multiple payment methods.

  11. Once you have entered an amount equal to or greater than the sale price, the 5 buttons will be enabled to complete the sale:

    • Pay: The sale ends and no receipt will be printed.

    • Ticket: ends the sale and prints the ticket for the sale we just made.

    • Gift ticket: finish the sale, print the ticket for the sale you just made and open a pop-up window asking which items you want to print on the gift ticket. By default, all sale items appear on the gift receipt.

    • Eco ticket: end the sale and send the ticket by email. This action is only enabled when the sale has been assigned to a customer with an email address.

    • Eco gift ticket: finish the sale, send the ticket by email and open a pop-up window asking what items you want to send in the gift ticket. This action is only enabled when the sale has been assigned to a customer with an email address.

  12. In all ticket types, both PDF, HTML, and printed, you will see the series reference to be able to maintain correct traceability.
