Integrating the Comercia Global Payments payment terminal with Stockagile allows you to process payments quickly and efficiently directly from the platform. Follow these steps to configure and use the payment terminal correctly with Stockagile.
Important: Before testing, you must disable an option in the settings of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, as communication between the web browser and the payment terminal is via an insecure HTTP connection. If you do not disable this option, access will be blocked by the browser because it attempts to access our app's secure (HTTPS) connection.
Deactivate option Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
1.Access Google Chrome settings
Click on the three vertical dots icon in the upper right corner of Chrome (as shown in the first screenshot). Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
2. Access Security settings
In the left sidebar of Settings, click Privacy and security.
3. Go to Advanced settings
Scroll down to find the Insecure content section. Check the box next to Allow insecure content to enable the option to allow insecure connections.
4. Reload the page
After making this change, reload the page you need to access so that the new settings take effect.
Steps to set the payment terminal
1. Obtain the payment terminal's IP address
To integrate the payment terminal with Stockagile, we first need to obtain its IP address. Follow these steps to find it:
Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Settings (gear icon) > Advanced > Copy the IP address that appears.
2. Configure the Static IP Address on the Payment Terminal
Once you have the IP address, you must configure it as static to ensure it doesn't change. To do this:
Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Settings (gear icon) > Edit (pencil icon in the upper right corner) > Advanced options > IP settings > Static IP (⚠️ It is very important that you copy the IP address you obtained in the previous step).
3. Setup in Stockagile
To complete this setup, you must contact support from the dashboard or directly from here via the chat located in the lower right corner.
Steps to use the Stockagile Point of Sale
1. Access the Point of Sale
First, go to the Point of Sale screen and select the register where the sale will be processed.
2. Add Items for Sale
Add the items for sale, either by scanning them or searching for them.
3. Proceed with Payment
Once you have selected the product, click the "Pay by Card" button.
4. Select Payment Method
The system will automatically select the payment method. In this case, it will be called "CARD," but you can change the payment method name if you wish.
5. Pay with the Card Reader
Click the "Pay" button to process the payment. The card reader will provide instructions. After completing the transaction, the sale will be finalized.
If there is an error with the payment, an error message will be displayed, and Stockagile will offer you the option to retry the payment.
6. Sale Completion
Once the payment is processed successfully, the system will hide the sale, and the process will be complete.
If you wish to make a new sale, simply click the "Done" button to restart the process.
Setting Up Your Payment Terminal in Stockagile (App Version)
Follow these steps to successfully integrate your Comercia Global Payments payment terminal into Stockagile using the tablet version of the app.
1. Access the Settings section
On the app's main screen, select the side menu (three-line icon) and then go to Settings.
2. Access the Payment Terminals settings
Within Settings, select the Payment Terminals option to manage and configure your payment devices.
3. Create a new payment terminal
To add a new terminal, click the + Create button in the upper right corner of the screen. A form will appear where you can configure your payment terminal.
4. Complete the payment terminal details
Payment terminal type: Select Comercia Global Payments from the dropdown menu.
Currency: Choose your store's currency; the default is EUR (€).
Device IP: Enter the static IP address of the payment terminal you obtained previously.
5. Save the configuration
After completing the fields, select Save to store the configuration of your new payment terminal.
6. Terminal Verification and Management
On the Payment Terminals main screen, you will see the list of configured devices. This displays the terminal name, type (Comercia Global Payments), and associated IP address.
With these steps, you will have successfully integrated your payment terminal with Stockagile from the app version.
