To make everything as smooth as possible when selling, Stockagile needs a program that acts as a bridge between the web browser and your ticket printer. This way, your browser will not show the print window every time you want to print a ticket. This program is called Qz.
Before starting the configuration, you must make sure that the printer is turned on and correctly connected to the computer. To check this, you can print a test ticket from the configuration section of your computer. If you do not have it connected, here is a guide depending on your operating system:
From Stockagile, we recommend that you connect it via USB if possible, as it is the easiest and fastest method. In addition, you will probably need to install the printer drivers: you can find them in the instruction manual or by searching for the exact model on Google.
Once the connection is verified, you must install Qz from this web site . You must have the latest version of Java installed for Qz to work properly. When you install Qz, Java should install or update automatically. If not, click here to download it.
Once downloaded and installed, an icon with a green or white printer will appear in the top bar of your computer (on Mac) or in the Windows bar on the right (on Windows): click on it and check that the Automatically Start option is active. This way, every time you turn on the computer, it will connect directly.
Once installed and ready, go back to Stockagile and refresh the screen. Then select the "Direct Printer" option from the printer icon at the top right.
If you are setting up the printer for the first time, a window will appear for you to select the default box for this computer and then another window will appear for you to select the thermal printer.
If the printer is not listed, this is usually solved by restarting Qz and updating the Stockagile website to force synchronization. Once you select it, the Stockagile printer icon will turn green and you will be able to print.
