The wholesale module allows sales to customers. If you have previously uploaded sales in an Excel file, you can import them directly into Stockagile.
Requirements to create and place purchase orders
- The user must have the role of OWNER or WAREHOUSE MANAGER. You can see the different types of roles in the section Create or edit a user.
- Although items can be registered during the purchase creation process, it is advised to have entered all items before starting the purchase.
Steps to create and perform imports in a wholesale sale
- Go to the side menu and click on the SALES button within the WHOLESALE section.
- The sales list will appear, click on NEW SALE at the top right of the screen.
- Once inside the new sale screen, you must fill in the following fields, some mandatory and others not:
- Contact: assign the contact to whom the sale is being made
- Sale rate *: price of the products. This is usually the wholesale rate.
- Stock warehouse *: warehouse from which the stock is taken to prepare the sales order.
- Sales warehouse: warehouse to which the sale is to be assigned.
- Sales agent: sales agent who is placing the order.
- Period/Season *: of the products you are going to sell.
- Presale collection: collection of products that will make up the sale.
- Serial number *: with which the sale will be generated.
- Delivery note serial number: the serial number that will appear on the delivery notes.
- Shipping start date: expected date of the sales order shipment.
- Cancellation date: this cancellation date can be edited throughout the sales order.
- Recommended retail price: recommended retail price for selling to the final consumer.
- Invoice language *: language of the issued invoice. This is useful if you are invoicing abroad.
- Notes: additional notes and details you want to add.
- Tags: tags for the order to differentiate it better.
- Once the fields are filled, click the CONTINUE button. By clicking, you will have changed tabs, and now it is time to import the products.
- Select the 3 vertical dots at the top right.
- Select the "Import products" option where you can download the sample template for import.
- In this Excel, you must add the product barcode or SKUs and how many units per product variant.
- Once filled out, make sure it is in .csv, .xls, .xlsx format and upload it in the pop-up window from where you got the template.
- Once the import is completed, you will see the products added to the sales order, and you can confirm it without needing to enter the products one by one.
