View and edit product images

In Stockagile you can edit the images of an already created product at any time.

The images are used to identify a product more easily, to download catalogs or you can also synchronize the images from the system with the ecommerce.

Requirements to be able to edit the images of a product:

• The user must have the role of OWNER, STORE MANAGER, WAREHOUSE MANAGER or PRODUCT EDITOR. You can see the different types of roles in the section Create or edit a user.
• Have created a product, you can see how to create a product in the section Create product.

Steps to edit a product cover image:

1. Go to the side menu and click on the PRODUCTS button in the INVENTORY section.
2. You will see the list of products, click on the product you want to modify.
3. Once inside the product sheet, click on the DETAILS tab.
4. From the DETAILS tab click the CHANGE COVER IMAGE button. This will open a file browser. Select the photo you want to assign as the cover and save the changes.

Steps to edit the images of a product:

1. Go to the side menu and click on the PRODUCTS button in the INVENTORY section.
2. You will see the list of products, click on the product you want to modify.
3. Once inside the product sheet, click on the IMAGES tab.
4. From the IMAGES tab you can view and edit the images of a product. When uploading a photo, you can indicate the product variants that correspond to the product, and if you want to use the photo as a cover.
5. Finally click on SAVE, you will get a message on the top right hand side that says IMAGE SAVED.

Optionally, you can also mark one of the images in the IMAGES tab as the cover photo. To do this, just click on an image and then click on the USE AS COVER button.

If you have an ecommerce and you want Stockagile to inform the ecommerce which variant each image is, you will need to store in Stockagile which photos are linked to which variants. An example of this might be if you have a garment in multiple colors, and you want to link an image for each color.

Steps to assign an image to a specific variant:

1. Go to the side menu and click on the PRODUCTS button in the INVENTORY section.
2. You will see the list of products, click on the product you want to modify.
3. Once inside the product sheet, click on the IMAGES tab.
4. Click on the image you want to link to one or multiple variants.
5. If you want to link the selected image to all combinations of a particular variant, click on the VARIANTS selector and click on one. An example of this case would be if you want to link an image of a Blue T-shirt to all combinations of all sizes (S - Blue, M - Blue and L - Blue).

If on the other hand you want to link the selected image with only one combination of variants, click on the PRODUCT VARIANTS selector and click on one. An example of this case would be if you want to link an image directly with a size S and a color Blue.
