All products within Stockagile have stock assigned to them. In addition, all operations made on them (sales, purchases, transfer receipts, stock reservations, etc.) involve stock movements that are recorded in the system.
Within the stock table, you will be able to consult all movements without having to change screen.
Requirements to be able to view the stock and stock movements of a product
- Having created a product, we can see how to create a product in the section Create product.
- The stock of a product is visible to all users. You can see the different types of roles in the section Create or edit a user.
Steps to view the stock and stock movement of a product
- Go to the side menu and click on the PRODUCTS button in the INVENTORY section.
- The list of products will appear, click on the product you want to see.
- Once inside the product sheet, click on the STOCK tab.
- From the STOCK tab you will see four different tabs:
- Stocks: table with product stocks, differentiated by variants and locations.
- Batches/UIDs: when the product is UID/Batches, list of the UIDs/Batches registered in the system for this product.
- Movements: summary of all movements that have been made for that product, sorted by date, origin, type of movement, movement, warehouse, color, size and user. You can also filter by warehouse, or by variants, e.g. sizes or colors.
- Transfers: display of the transfers that have been made for that product, detailed by serial number, transfer status, origin, destination, created, delivery, notes, item.
- Purchases: display of the purchases that have been made of that product, detailed by purchase reference, purchase status, contact, warehouse, creation, shipment, item.
- Sales: display of the sales that have been made of that product, detailed by sale number, customer, email, creation date, cashbox, warehouse, units sold, payment, and total.
- Wholesale sales: display of the wholesale sales that have been made of that product, detailed by reference number, status, warehouse, season, contact, email, creation date, items, and subtotal.
- Enter the tab STOCKS. Here you can see the different stock statuses of that product:
- Stocks: actual available quantity that you have now. Stocks that are reserved, in transfer, bought or sold will not appear here.
- Minimum stock: the amount of minimum stock you have chosen to have per product variant and location.
- Reserved: total stock prepared and ready to ship.
- Transferred: in transfer and pending receipt.
- Purchased: purchased and pending receipt.
- Sold: total stock sold.
- If the stock appears in yellow, it means that it is in minimum stock.
Step 5: Stock tab within a product
Steps to edit the stock and minimum stock for a product
- Go to the STOCK table of a product
- You will only be able to: edit stocks, minimum stocks, transfer stocks and preview draft transfers.
Edit stock
- Select from the drop-down menu "Stocks" or select the green "Stocks" column directly.
- Click on the EDIT button.
- Select"Edit stock" from the drop-down menu.
- It will change the display of the table so that add or remove stock either:
- With the up and down arrows.
- By clicking on each of the cells.
- If you want to go faster, select a cell, add the number of stocks, and jump between them by clicking the tab key.
- As you update the stock, click out, and the changes will be saved automatically.
- Once you have applied the changes, click again on the"Edit" button and deselect"Edit stock" to exit the edit mode.
Step 1: select "Stocks" from the drop-down menu
Steps 2 and 3: click on "Edit" and then "Edit stock".
Step 6: Deselect "Edit holdings" and exit edit mode.
Edit minimum stock
We recommend that you configure the minimum stock of your products, so that we notify you with notifications when a product is at minimum, at 0 or with negative stock in order to make better your replacements and avoid stock ruptures.
- Select from the drop-down menu "Minimum stock".
- Click on the EDIT button.
- Select"Edit stock" from the drop-down menu.
- It will change the display of the table so that add your minimum stock for each product variant either:
- With the up and down arrows.
- By clicking on each of the cells.
- If you want to go faster, select a cell, add the number of stocks, and jump between them by clicking the tab key.
- As you update the stock, click out, and the changes will be saved automatically.
- Once you have applied the changes, click again on the"Edit" button and deselect"Edit stock" to exit the edit mode.
Make sure that the selection is "Minimum stock".
