Edit the prices and promotions of a product

In Stockagile, we can edit the prices and promotions of a product or its variants at any time.

We can have different rates, for example, a wholesale rate, an in-store rate, an ecommerce rate (if the prices are different from the store), an outlet rate, etc.

Requirements to be able to edit prices and promotions of a product

• The user must have the role of OWNER, STORE MANAGER, WAREHOUSE MANAGER or PRODUCT EDITOR. You can see the different types of roles in the section Create or edit a user.
• Having created a product, we can see how to create a product in the section Create product.

Steps to edit the prices and promotions of a product

1. Go to the side menu and click on the PRODUCTS button, in the CATALOG section.
2. The list of products will appear, click on the product you want to modify.
3. Once inside the product file, click on the RATES tab.
4. From the RATES tab we can modify price rates or any price or promotion percentage. More specifically we can modify:
   1. Product tax.
   2. The price WITHOUT tax or WITH tax up to six decimal places. Immediately after modifying one, it will be calculated automatically.
   3. In case of promotion, we can type the discount PERCENTAGE, the discount price WITHOUT tax or the discount price WITH tax up to six decimal places, just type one and the rest is autocompleted. 
      
      
      
      ⚠️ Important note: for promotional prices to be applied, the Active discount checkbox in the product details tab must be checked.
      
      
      
      
5. Finally we will click on SAVE at the bottom right and a message will appear at the top right that will say UPDATED PRICES.
