The attributes of a product are those characteristics that, apart from the defined variants, help to define the product more specifically and provide more information to the customer. Above all, it helps to know what it is made of in case it is necessary.
With Stockagile you can create and configure these attribute categories, so that your products are better defined and sell better.
Requirements to create, edit and configure category attributes
The user must have the role of OWNER, STORE MANAGER, WAREHOUSE MANAGER or PRODUCT EDITOR. You can see the different types of roles in the Create or edit a user section.
Having created a product, you can see how to create a product in the Create new product section.
Pasos para poder crear categorías de atributos
Go to your user at the top right and click on SETTINGS.
Within Settings, go to ATTRIBUTE CATEGORIES.
You will see two lists:
Attribute Categories: Generic attributes will go here.
Attributes: when an attribute has multiple attributes or is unique, you can add an attribute to be able to select which one it is in the details of a product.
In the Attribute Categories list, click "+ New Attribute Category"
A pop-up window will open where you must:
Name: Enter the name of the attribute category.
Attribute type: the type of attribute you want it to be
Multiple attributes
single attribute
Whole number
decimal number
Text
JSON
HTML text
Once everything is defined, click "Save" and the new attribute category will have been created.

Steps to edit attribute categories
Go to your username at the top right and click on SETTINGS.
Within Settings, go to ATTRIBUTE CATEGORIES.
In the Attribute Categories list, click on the pencil.
A pop-up window will open where you can edit the name if necessary.
Once the changes are made, click "Save."
⚠️ Note: You cannot edit the type of attribute category, to do so you must delete it by clicking on the trash icon of the attribute category and create one again.

Pasos para poder configurar categorías de atributos dentro de un producto
Dirígete a CATÁLOGO y haz clic en PRODUCTS.
Del listado, busca y haz clic en el producto donde quieras añadir los atributos de categoría.
Dentro del producto, dirígete a la pestaña de DETALLES.
Desliza hacia abajo, encontrarás la sección de "Atributos" justo después de la de "Características de envío", antes de la de "Descripción del producto".
Para añadir las categorías de atributos haz clic en "Añadir atributo" y escribe el atributo que le quieras añadir al producto.
Según el tipo de atributo deberás:
Multiple attributes: select more than one attribute.
Single Attribute: Select a single attribute.
Integer: Write an integer.
Decimal number: Write a decimal number.
Text: write a text that defines the attribute.
JSON: write the JSON of the attribute.
HTML Text: Write the HTML text of the attribute.
When you have added all the attributes, be sure to hit the "Save" button at the top right so that the changes are recorded correctly.
