We've changed the way you move around Stockagile. In this article we'll tell you
why we did it and, most importantly, where to find each section now.
Why did we change the menu?
Stockagile has been adding functionality over the last few years: in your stores' POS, in your warehouses' WMS, for preparing your ecommerce orders, and for your wholesale sales…
We've built a complete operating system for retail, but we want using it to stay agile and intuitive.
With this update we've reorganized all the navigation with three goals: making it easier to find what you need, giving you more screen space to work with, and making the interface clearer and more pleasant to use. The horizontal bar disappears completely: that space becomes part of your work area.
The menu, now all in the left sidebar
The new menu is organized into sections or modules —Analytics, Contacts, Catalog, Inventory, Planning, Wholesale, Retail, Ecommerce, Invoicing, and More— arranged vertically on the left sidebar.
Some modules, like Contacts, have a single section. More complex modules have several sections that expand directly within the menu itself: when you click on them, the section expands and shows its sections below, without leaving the sidebar or changing screens. For example, when you open Catalog you can see its different sections at a glance —like Products or Variants— and jump between them without losing sight of the rest of the modules.
In some sections, like Configuration, we open a submenu that lets you see all the configuration options organized by topic.
The search bar and keyboard shortcuts
Right below the logo you'll find the search bar, available at all times. You can open it with your mouse or directly with your keyboard, using the shortcut shown in the search bar itself (Cmd/Ctrl + K). From there you can type the name of the feature you need and access it without having to navigate the menu, which is especially useful now that Stockagile has so many sections.
In cases where a submenu appears, you'll also have a second search bar to navigate comfortably.
Everything that used to be at the top is now at the bottom left
The account menu and the quick-access icons that used to sit in the top corner are now grouped in the bottom-left corner of the side menu. From there you'll find:
Clock-in (fichaje)
Printer
Support chat
Your account name, which opens quick access to performance, Academy, language settings, and more
Moving these controls to the bottom frees up the top of the screen completely, so that space becomes part of your work area too.
You can hide the menu when you need to
If you need even more room, you can collapse the sidebar using the button next to the logo, at the top of the menu. This leaves only the icons visible, and you can expand it again whenever you need to.
Where are the settings in the new menu?
Configuration is still a module in the sidebar, now grouped under More, alongside Applications. From there you can open the submenu and access all configuration options organized by topic, just like before.
And if you're ever unsure where something is, remember the search bar: just type what you're looking for and go straight to it.
A refreshed interface
Beyond the new structure, we've also refreshed the icons and visual styles throughout the panel, so navigating Stockagile feels clearer and more modern.
