Stockagile lets you check from the panel the three factors that most affect its speed: your browser, your internet connection and the Stockagile server.
Use these tests when the panel feels slow, to find out where the problem is.
Requirements to run performance tests
Any user can open the screen, but only users with the OWNER, RETAIL MANAGER or WHOLESALE MANAGER role can run the tests. You can see the different roles in Create or edit a user.
Steps to run performance tests
Click your user name, at the bottom left of the side menu, and select PERFORMANCE.
Image 1: User menu with the PERFORMANCE option. The “Performance tests” screen opens, with three cards: “Your browser”, “Your network” and “The server”.
Click the RUN ALL button at the top right to launch the three tests at once. To launch only one, click RUN inside its card.
Wait a few seconds for the tests to finish. Each card shows its result.
Image 2: Results of the three performance tests.
When they finish, each card shows whether that factor works well or may be the cause of the slowness.
Keep in mind:
Users without the roles listed in the requirements can open the screen, but they do not see the buttons to run the tests.
The results depend on the computer, browser and network you run the tests from: run them from the workstation where you notice the slowness.
If “Your network” shows in red, check your internet connection before contacting support.
To check whether your equipment is suitable, see Recommended Hardware with Stockagile.
Description of each test:
Test | Description |
Your browser | Measures the computing power of your browser in iterations per second. Above 3,800: “Good performance”; between 2,500 and 3,800: “Regular performance”; 2,500 or less: “Bad performance”. |
Your network | Measures the download and upload speed of your connection, in Mbps. Each value shows in green if it reaches the recommended minimum (9 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload) and in red if it does not. |
The server | Measures the average response time of the Stockagile server and shows “Good performance”, “Regular performance” or “Bad performance”. |
