How Amazon - Stockagile Sync Works

This article explains how Amazon - Stockagile synchronization works, as well as the necessary requirements to make a correct connection between both platforms.

Currently, the Amazon - Stockagile connection only synchronizes the stock of the products, their prices, orders and returns. Once this connection/synchronization is configured, you will be able to have the stock of the products synchronized in real time with the Amazon platform. The article How to configure the connection with Amazon explains how to set it.

From then on, every time there is a stock movement (such as a purchase from a supplier, a stock removal from the warehouse or a sale/order), Stockagile will synchronize the stock of the products, as long as they have synchronization activated and the following requirements are met:

  1. The products to be synchronized must be previously created on both platforms, Amazon and Stockagile. From Stockagile it is not possible to create products unless you have the product creation option active (you can check with support if you have this option active). Products must be created in the general Amazon catalog before trying to sync them with Stockagile.

  2. Once the products are created in Stockagile and on Amazon, it is necessary that their respective SKUs in Stockagile are the same as those in Amazon.

Steps to sync products between Amazon and Stockagile

  1. Activate the synchronization of products for the previously created Amazon channel. You can activate and sync products in two ways:

    1. From the Ecommerce section, located within each product, with this option you activate and sync directly.

    2. Or, by bulk edit by selecting the products previously, going to the "ecommerce" section of the pop-up, clicking on the enable synchronization (to put them on the list) and then on synchronize products (if you want to sync them directl), then click the save buton at the bottom right.

Values integrated into Amazon orders

As for orders, you can manage them in the Orders option in the Ecommerce section. Among the available options you can change the warehouse for deliveries, print a delivery note, label with Sendcloud or create the invoice for the entire order (if customer data is missing, the program will inform you which ones so you can modify them).

From Configuration > Developers you will also find in our APIs the endpoints necessary to:

  • Update the shipping data (tracking number, carrier, etc.) of the packing order to be able to synchronize it with the order on Amazon.

  • Be able to mark the packing order as shipped. This action will also synchronize shipping data with Amazon if it has been reported via API or by generating shipping labels with Sendcloud.
